I have stayed at this motel so many different times and the owner is a very great person, respectful, kind, caring and they also have a big heart. They treat people very good. and is definitely not a rip off. The prices are great the rooms are very clean, quiet and cozy. You don't have to worry about drugs or crazy shit going on on there property cause they don't allow it n they don't rent to just anyone and if you don't have a State ID he will not rent to you which is a good thing.... I've seen a lot of people trying to go there n rent rooms for other people n if the person there renting the room for can't go into the office n show ID then they can't get a room..... I will always choose the Anchor Motel over any Motel....

Clean rooms and excellent service!! These people are very friendly and helpful and my wife and I have been treated like family every time we have stayed!! I recommend the Anchor Motel to everyone that needs to stay in the South Portland area!! You will be happy that you did.

We rented four rooms for my wedding on Labor Day weekend. The owner was incredibly accommodating of all of our guests and was extremely responsive to all of our needs for everything from extra parking to sugar for our coffee. The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful experience and would recommended to anyone visiting the Portland area. Thank you for making us feel at home at such a special time!
Great rooms, very clean. Lots of cable channels to chose from. The hotel owners are wonderful people. Great rates! Weekly and monthly options as well as nightly.

The staff are so nice and friendly very understanding. They above and beyond to Satisfy his customers every time I come to Maine I book my room here I enjoy it there also it’s very convenient to Walmart and all the major stores
The Anchor Motel was a great little spot to stay. The prices were great, the room was clean and it was a short drive to nightlife. The real gem here though was the owner. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's very clear that he takes great pride in his motel and customer service. I will most definitely be back!
